Why Use Us?
Smiling mechanic portrait.jpg

Why use recruiters that have never actually worked in the laundry industry? I have been in the laundry industry since 1992 and have served at all levels of engineering and production and have interviewed and hired hundreds for all positions including:

  • Senior Level Management (Plant Managers, Operations Managers, General Managers).

  • Executives (Directors, Regional Managers and VP’s)

  • Engineering Managers*

  • Chief Engineers*

  • High Skill-Level Maintenance Technicians*

  • Logistics/Transportations Managers

(*Proficiency Assessment Conducted)

I have been using professionally developed electrical/mechanical proficiency assessments for decades to confirm that engineering/maintenance applicants possess the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. This ensures that you will never speak with an engineering applicant that is unqualified.

What is different about Laundry People Finders?

At Laundry People Finders we have taken the things people dislike about recruiters, (aka headhunters) and either eliminated them or improved them:

  • No Exclusivity Clauses. The mutual goal is to find you a qualified person as quickly as possible.

  • Fixed Fee. Have you ever had a recruiter come back to you requesting more money for the applicant? Which, will also yield more money for the recruiter? Not here. No matter what happens with salary negotiation, we don’t make more because you needed to pay more to land the applicant.

  • Industry Expertise. Been disappointed by lackluster management applicants? I have found that many recruiters have little to no laundry industry knowledge which can make it very difficult to determine if the applicant is well suited to the position. On the other hand, I have been honing my skills for three decades. In fact, although it's been a few years, my wife Tania is also a veteran of the laundry industry and experienced many plants in North America and Europe in her time.

  • Technical Proficiency Assessments. Been presented with unqualified technicians? It will not happen with us. The assessment methods we use were developed together with higher education professionals. They are very effective and are easily and securely conducted remotely.

  • Weekly Updates. Ever hired a recruiter and not heard from them for weeks? Not with us. We will provide a weekly update so that you know exactly how things are going with the search.

  • Improved Pricing Model. Some recruiters request a substantial payment up front. We have a different model.

  • Best of All…We Have a Lower Rate. In some cases, much lower. We are familiar with those that charge 20%, 25%, 30% and even more. Laundry People Finders is priced lower.
